Agribusiness Yarra Valley
Agribusiness Yarra Valley (AYV) is dedicated to continuing advancement of agribusiness in the Yarra Valley. It works to support agriculture and horticulture through industry and government partnerships, by providing information on a wide variety of topics and issues and the opportunity to network cross sector industries. It participates in collaborative projects that assist growers to be innovative and sustainable.

These are groups to which Nangana Landcare belongs:
Victorian National Parks Association is an independent, not-for-profit nature conservation organisation that has been the prime supporter of nature conservation in Victoria since 1952, advocating for national parks, conservation reserves, and evidence-based environmental policy.
Save the Dandenongs League, the oldest environmental group in the region, formed in 1950. Their work is still needed.
Westernport Biosphere is C411 Country’s next-door-neighbour – a UNESCO-designated Biosphere Reserve covering 2,142 sq km around the Mornington Peninsula and Western Port.
The Eastern Dandenong Ranges Association is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit local business and tourism group representing businesses across the Dandenong Ranges.
Landcare Victoria is the peak body for all Landcare groups and networks in Victoria, providing established governance standards and sector-wide credibility.

Today I want to congratulate the Nangana Landcare Network, which was recently awarded silver for their work saving Victoria’s faunal emblems at the Australian Geographical Society’s award night.
The network was one of 70 applicants across the country. They made it through the shortlist of 21 groups and were named just one of five winning groups across the country.
Congratulations, and thank you to all our local environmental volunteers who have been involved in protecting our faunal emblems and making sure that in the Yarra Ranges agriculture and nature work side by side.
